These work pretty well for the cost.They work well with a DMX controller and have very good brightness and range. They make a great flood/wash. The first two that I bought had only 2 screws mounting the fan, causing a rattle depending on how the light was positioned. The most recent set have the fan fully secured. The fan is still a bit noisy, but mounted up high this probably would not be as noticeable. The last two I did modify to quiet down - I don't really care about voiding the warranty here since they are so cheap. I will probably modify these two as well. I added some heat sinks to the back of the LED board to improve cooling with the slower fan speed.
One major pro with the two I just received is the Power input connector is now a standard IEC connector (same as a computer input) - instead of being hardwired. I consider this a big upgrade, as now I'm no longer limited to the short length of the cord and can use any length IEC cable that I need.
I have many low cost stage lighting and while they do a reasonable good job the Betopper 'tops' them off :). This is definitely a premium product and you can tell the way it arrives well packaged and looks the business. The product has a solid build quality and a good finish. The light output itself is very good and very bright as seen in my images when compared to low cost products. I would say this is as good as some of the big brands but without the big price tag. The light is easy to use and the buttons on the back are in the same format as many other par cans. Colour mixing is exceptional on this and there is a good range of colours you can choose using the back buttons if you dont have a DMX controller. So far no complaints or any improvements I can think of. I already own a Betopper moving head and both items are exceptional.
