You can absolutely sync two units in sound sense mode. All you need to do is set one unit as the "master" and the other as the "slave" using the DMX cable for synchronization
Why the moving head light is not response to the sound-activated mode?
1. Please check whether you choose right mode.
2. Please adjust the sound sensitivity if the mode is right.

Very bright, especially with a smoke machine. I got two of these, the first one just wasn't enough. After being so impressed with the first one, I got a second one and grabbed a DMX cable for them. The menu is a bit of getting used to, and the manual isn't that much better. But once I got the master unit set for sound, the second unit defaulted to slave mode.
Excellent quality and design. Works exactly as stated if not better. Will be buying another one for my backyard Club.
